Who will send statements/tax slips and how often?If you hold your account(s) directly with us: You will receive all statement information from RBC Investor Services, our trustee/custodian Quarterly statements are mailed out within two weeks after the end of the quarter Trade confirmations are mailed out within two weeks after the transaction takes place Tax slips, if applicable, will be sent from us at their prescribed delivery times If you hold your account(s) via another dealer: The institution that holds your assets is responsible for your statements. We will not be sending any trade confirmations or account statements to you directly; we provide the information to your chosen institution Tax slips, if applicable, will be sent from us at their prescribed delivery times What is the minimum initial investment per fund?The minimum initial investment per fund is $25,000. If you are interested in investing, please contact our office. What kind of accounts can I open?You can open Cash, TFSA, RSP, LIRA, RIF and/or LIF accounts. I would like to make a contribution/an additional contribution, how do I do it?As with all transactions, they take place on the last business day of the month. The minimum additional contribution is $1,000. How do I send you the money for investment?If your account is held directly with ABC Funds, we will obtain written authorization for RBC Investor Services to pull the funds from your Canadian bank account, otherwise contact the dealer through which you hold our funds for more information. How do I invest using my RSP?RSP’s with ABC Funds are serviced by RBC Investor Services, our fund custodian. To open an RSP account, unitholders must: complete a SCHEDULE A Subscription Agreement, which is contained in the Confidential Offering Memorandum; complete Area I of the T2033 transfer form; complete an Application for Membership in the Retirement Savings Plan send all the completed material to I.A. Michael Investment Counsel Limited. Keep in mind that RRSP transfers can take up to a few weeks, and can be rejected if incomplete or incorrect information is submitted. Be sure to check with the relinquishing institution that you have included all the information their transfer department requires and send your material in early to allow time for processing. If your pension funds are locked-in, contact our office and we will provide you with the necessary forms to have your funds transferred. Can I invest using my RRIF and/or LIF?Yes. To arrange such an account, please contact our office. Do the funds distribute dividends?INCOME DISTRIBUTIONS: Our Fully-Managed Fund distributes income quarterly, when applicable Our other funds distribute income annually, when applicable CAPITAL GAINS DISTRIBUTIONS: All our funds distribute capital gains annually on December 31, when applicable I would like to redeem, how do I go about it?All our funds transact only once per month on the last business day of that month. Please see the offering memorandum for details on your particular fund. Redemption requests need to be received in our office, in writing, a minimum of 10 business days before the last business day of the month. If it is received after the deadline, the redemption will go through the next month. If I redeem, when can I get my money?Generally, on the fifth business day after trade date, RBC Investor & Trust Services has processed all transactions and direct deposits are sent out. What are acceptable methods of getting my instructions to you?Generally, mailed instructions are the norm. However, we can accept clear faxes or scans via email. As some transactions may require transfer forms, please check with the destination institution to see if they want to see original mailed forms before you send anything to us. Where void cheques are concerned, a clear scan or fax copy is also acceptable.
